One of the great things about StaarCon is the wide range of topics we cover. While the initial goal was to be a great tarot conference, we tarotists are part of a larger community of diviners, artists, spiritualists, and creators.

Over the past five years, we have explored a wide array of topics. I expect that exploration will continue and only become more interesting and profound. Because of StaarCon, I am exploring new methods of divination, such as runes and Lenormand. I know that StaarCon has helped many other people embrace new knowledge as well.

One of our most popular presenters at StaarCon 5 and in the StaarCon 5 AfterGlow is Kimberly Scheurer, The Medium That Rocks. I am excited to tell you that Kimberly will be offering Spirit Circle: A Modern-Day Séance in the StaarCon 5 AfterGlow in September and October. We are grateful to be able to provide these inspiring and mind-blowing sessions to all our StaarCon 5 ticketholders.

Kimberly’s September session will take place on Thursday, September 25, at 7:00 p.m.

I also hope that you will join me, Christiana Gaudet, the day before, on Wednesday, September 24, at 7:00 p.m. Bring your tarot cards, and we will play a fun ‘game’ with the Major Arcana that will help you learn more about tarot and more about yourself.

We anticipate that our new platform will be up and running before the end of the StaarCon 5 AfterGlow in January. Look for announcements here to learn about it and discover ways you can participate as we continue to offer you opportunities to learn and experience various ways of connecting to spirit and understanding yourself.

It’s a new month! Below you will see a schedule of our lounge events for September for the  StaarCon 5 AfterGlow.

When StaarCon 2021, our first conference, needed to be online only, we chose Accelevents as the best option for a robust virtual conference. One of the things we loved best was that they offered thirty days after the conference ended for ticketholders to continue to use the platform, watch the recordings, and meet in the lounges. We decided to call this time period the ‘StaarCon AfterGlow’. A few years later, we were offered the option to extend this time period for a full year, providing us with the amazing opportunity to host a conference that meets in person for a weekend and online for a full year.

After the StaarCon 5 AfterGlow ends in January 2026, we will never again host a StaarCon AfterGlow. That’s because our new platform will not have the same limitations we have had to work with over the past five years. The success of the AfterGlow is leading us to develop an even richer and more accessible online community offering.  We expect to have that new platform up and running long before the end of the StaarCon 5 AfterGlow. On Wednesday, September 3, from 8 pm to 9 pm ET, it’s time for Tarot Vibes: A Full Moon Prep Journey with Alyassia Taylor.

On Thursday, September 11, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, join Serena Fox and friends for Mystic Lounging.

On Wednesday, September 24, from 7 pm to 8 pm ET, join me, Christiana Gaudet, for The Major Arcana Game.

The StaarCon community is celebrating the publication of Kristine Gorman’s Visionary Woman Tarot this month. I first met Kristine in 2018 at the Northwest Tarot Symposium, where she showed me her now-famous painting of Rachel Pollack as Major Arcana 21, the World. She told me she was creating a full seventy-eight-card deck. On August 5, 2025, that deck became a reality, published by Weiser Books.

Weiser is a fabulous StaarCon sponsor, and Kristine is a past and future StaarCon presenter. We look forward to her sharing wisdom from her deck creation process with us. This week, we have a special event in the Meeting Hall Lounge on Accelevents for all StaarCon 5 ticketholders. Tomorrow, Thursday, August 21, at 7:00 pm ET, join Kim Scheurer, the Medium That Rocks, for a special evening of connections with ancestors and loved ones in Spirit. All attendees will receive a message.

Kim was a fantastic presenter at StaarCon 5. Her Friday session, “Spirit Stories: Friends in High Places”, was an inspiring exploration of how Spirit communicates with us. On Saturday and Sunday at StaarCon 5, Kim conducted “Spirit Circle: A Modern-Day Séance.” People were amazed, healed, and comforted by the messages they received. Tomorrow evening, you can experience the online version of Spirit Circle.
