The StaarCon meal plan offers your choice of lunches, and the ability to participate in the Saturday evening banquet. We are serving plated meals in an outdoor poolside pavilion.
The restaurant at the DoubleTree will be open for breakfast but closed during the day.

Our Headliners

We have more than thirty wonderful presenters for StaarCon 2022. Some will be presenting from the DoubleTree in Palm Beach Gardens, others will be presenting from their homes.
We are very excited to welcome our two headliners, Rachel Pollack and Sasha Graham.
Both are well-known and well-loved in our community.
Rachel will be presenting from her home in New York State. Sasha will be joining us in Palm Beach Gardens. Both presentations will be expansive and exciting!
Rachel’s workshop will be about exploring our relationship to the cards, and what we do with them. Sasha’s workshop is entitled “Unleashing the Storyteller Within”.
StaarCon is all about expanding our divination journey. Our headliners, along with all our presenters, will help us do just that.

Come for a Day or the Weekend!

StaarCon is a two-day conference with a third daylong Preconference Intensive. If you are only able to attend for a single day, either in person or online, you can purchase a ticket just for that day.

As a courtesy, we will include a Three of Cups General Admission ticket with your single day ticket. This will give you access to the classes in the Public Track on both Saturday and Sunday. Even if you cannot be there during the conference, you will have thirty days to watch those classes during the StaarCon AfterGlow on Accelevents Event Management Platform.

The single day tickets are as follows.

The Page of Swords is for the preconference intensive on Friday.

The Ace of Wands is for all three tracks of classes on Saturday.

The Ace of Cups is for all three tracks of classes on Sunday.

When you get your ticket, make sure you choose the ticket for In Person & Virtual Admission if you plan to join us in person in Palm Beach Gardens. If you plan to attend online, choose the ticket for Virtual Admission Only.

Mark Your Calendar for the AfterGlow Lounge Events

Every StaarCon ticket holder, no matter the ticket level, will have access to the StaarCon AfterGlow on Accelevents.

Every ticket holder will be able to view recordings of all classes included in their ticket level, shop in the virtual exhibition hall, and meet their conference friends in the lounges on Accelevents.

We also have three pre-scheduled lounge events, so mark your calendar to make sure you join us.

On Monday, January 31, 7 pm ET, join Mitchell Osborn for An Evening of Tarot Improv: A Fool’s Improvised Entertainment Journey.

Tarot improv with Mitchell is fun, funny, and extremely informative. At StaarCon 2021 we learned just how well tarot improve works in the online environment. Join us!

On Thursday, February 5, 7 pm ET, Christiana Gaudet and Barrett Urmy will be brainstorming a Star Trek tarot deck. If you are a fan of any or all of the Star Trek series, join us for a fun discussion of how the archetypes of tarot show up in the Star Trek universe.

On Thursday, February 10th at 7 pm ET it’s Tarot Healing with Amie Mouser.   Join Amie for some healing exploration and community connection. Bring your cards and questions for support and encouragement as you move forward.

Other lounge events will get scheduled during StaarCon 2022, and some will happen quite spontaneously. These three events are pre-scheduled, so we have something to look forward to so we can keep the post-conference blues away.

Logging in to Accelevents

Once you have your ticket to StaarCon, whether online or in person, you can log in to Accelevents. If you like, you can download the Accelevents app. This will be especially helpful for those who will be attending the conference in person.

You can also log in to Accelevents on a tablet, lap-top or desktop.

Accelevents has wonderful help files to give you any information you need. They even have a chat button where you can ask an Accelevents employee for help and direction.

The more you familiarize yourself with Accelevents prior to StaarCon, the more you will enjoy it during the conference and AfterGlow.

StaarCon Travel and Meals

If you are attending StaarCon in person, you will need to think about travel and meals.

It is easy to fly into Palm Beach International Airport and take an Uber or Lyft to the hotel, just ten minutes away.

Depending on where you are flying from, you might find it easier to land in Orlando or Fort Lauderdale and rent a car, or take a train to West Palm Beach, and Uber or Lyft from there.

If you are driving to StaarCon, you will find the DoubleTree Executive Meeting Center has plenty of safe and easy parking.

While at StaarCon, you have the option to get your lunches and your Saturday dinner with the StaarCon meal plan. The restaurant located within the DoubleTree is open only for breakfast, so the StaarCon lunches are a great way to save time and make sure you are ready for the afternoon sessions.

Preparing for StaarCon

StaarCon is now less than two months away! How can you prepare?

First, of course, make sure you have your ticket! You can attend in person in Palm Beach Gardens or online on Accelevents. Either way, you need to have a ticket. If you have questions about which ticket is right for you, please call or text me at 561-655-1160, or email me.

Once you have your ticket, download the Accelevents app into your Android or iPhone. Either on your computer or on the app, log in to Accelevents. The ticket you receive in your email will help you do this. You will want to do this whether you are attending online or in person.

Once on Accelevents, you can choose the classes you would like to attend and create a profile for yourself.

You can also join the StaarCon Community private group on Facebook and get to know some of your fellow conference attendees.

If you are attending in person, you will want to arrange your transportation, and get your hotel room using the StaarCon discount link.

You may also want to buy tickets for the StaarCon meal plan.

If you are coming in person and staying at the hotel, bring a bathing suit as Jenna Matlin is planning a pool party!

What Will the Weather Be in Palm Beach Gardens in January?

If you are coming to StaarCon in person, you might be wondering about the weather. While January is typically the coldest month of the year in South Florida, the weather is usually sunny and temperate. Expect the average temperature to be around 74 degrees Fahrenheit, while the low may drop down to 60 degrees. Don’t worry, the pool at the DoubleTree is heated!

If you buy a StaarCon meal ticket, you will enjoy eating your gourmet meals in a tented pavilion poolside.

If you want to enjoy libations and divinations in the DoubleTree bar, you will be able to sit with your conference friends at the poolside patio.

What Will StaarCon Online Be Like?

If you are attending StaarCon online, you might be wondering what the experience of online conferencing is. On Accelevents, the conference experience is not like a Zoom conference, or a conference held on social media.

When you attend StaarCon online, you can shop in the virtual exhibition hall. If you have a full conference ticket, you can pop in and out of the simultaneous classes, knowing you can watch the classes more carefully during the AfterGlow. You can meet with friends in the lounges and have one-on-one video chats with conference attendees on Accelevents.

You will also be able to interact with in person conference attendees. Whether the StaarCon presenter is in person or online, you will be able to use the chat function to ask questions.

A tarot conference is an immersive experience. Of course, there is something special about being with people in person, Yet, if that is not possible for you, StaarCon on Accelevents will be an exciting, informative, and immersive experience.

Which StaarCon Ticket is Right for You?

There are a few things to consider when choosing your StaarCon ticket. First, of course, is whether you will be attending in person in Palm Beach Gardens, or online only.

When you visit the ticketing site, you will see that we have one option that, at $50, is extremely affordable. This is the Three of Cups option, which gives you a General Admission ticket.

The General Admission ticket, whether online or in person, allows you access to the exhibitors. The General Admission ticket also allows you access to the Public Track of classes.

Here are some FAQs about the Public Track.

What is the Public Track?

The Public Track is our name for the track of classes that is accessible with the low-cost “Three of Cups” General Admission ticket. The General Admission ticket can be purchased for $50. The General Admission Ticket is also included, as a courtesy, with all the single-day tickets.

Which presenters are on the Public Track?

The schedule is subject to change without notice. As the schedule now stands, the following presenters are on the Public Track: Birgit Kiemes-Windmill (Horary Astrology), Amie Mouser (Healing with the Suit of Cups), Frank Kwiatkowski (The Beatles and Tarot), Ciro Marchetti (The Art of Visual Communication), Amy Zerner and Monte Farber (How We Create Spiritual Power Tools), Serena Fox (Tarot Movement and the Tarot Dance), Vicki Santell (Creating Ritual with Tarot), Michelle Barrie (Mediumship with Lenormand), Claire Lily (Tarot for Families), Lisa Hunt (Spirit Drawing), Amber Highland (Writing for The Cartomancer), Rose Robinson (Spreads and Spells with the Major Arcana).

Can I take classes that aren’t on the Public Track with the General Admission ($50) ticket?

No. To be able to choose your classes, and/or have access to all the classes, you need a higher ticket level.

Are there single day tickets available?

Yes. You can buy a ticket for the preconference intensive only, or only for Saturday and Sunday. As a courtesy, these tickets also include the General Admission ticket, so you will also have access to the Public Track classes on the days that are excluded from the single day ticket you purchased.

StaarCon Headliner Sasha Graham on StaarCast

We are so excited that Sasha Graham is a headliner for StaarCon 2022.

Sasha Graham is an actor, a tarot author and teacher, and a tarot deck designer. In this episode of StaarCon we learn about her life journey, and all the ways in which tarot has become a part of it.

As a theatrical person born on Halloween, Sasha likes things that are spooky and mysterious. She finds power in creating moods, scenes, and atmospheres that feel magical.

We are looking forward to seeing her magic in action at StaarCon.

The Accelevents Conference Experience

If you are attending StaarCon online, you will take your classes, shop in the online exhibition hall, and meet your friends in the online lounges, all on Accelevents.

This year, there is an app for Android and iOS that will allow you to take the conference with you if you are on the go.

If you are attending StaarCon in person, you will use Accelevents to navigate the conference, choose your classes, and communicate with your in-person conference friends as well as your online conference friends.

Whether you are attending online or in person, you will use Accelevents for the thirty-day StaarCon AfterGlow.

Accelevents has a handy chat help deck to handle any of your questions about how to use the platform and get the most from StaarCon.

The StaarCon AfterGlow

Whether you attend in person or online you will have access to recordings of all the classes included in your ticket for thirty days on the Accelevents platform.

If you have a full conference ticket, for example, you will be able to watch all the classes in all the tracks. Review the classes you loved and catch up on the classes you missed.

We will also have scheduled live events in the online lounges.

During the StaarCon AfterGlow you can continue to shop in the online exhibition hall and meet privately with your friends via video chat or in the lounges.

StaarCon is a three-day conference, but it is also a thirty-day learning experience.

The StaarShine Scholarship Fund

Although the Public Track is a very affordable way to attend StaarCon, serious students want the full conference and the opportunity to experience the more than thirty presentations.

For students who cannot afford this ticket we have the StaarShine Scholarship Fund.
