Amelia Joy is a tarot reader, teacher, mentor, and co-founder of Sibyl’s Lab of Cartomantics, a home for irreverent divination at the altar of the everyday. Aside from Tarot, Amelia has been making and teaching theater for the past 15 years. Amelia brings the spirit of the living story from the stage into her work with cards, seeing the cards as a vessel through which we can see the dramas of our own lives played out on the table. With a passion for exploration and play, she hopes to open others to the range of possibilities that a humble pack of cards can offer.

Using the building blocks of theatrical storytelling, attendees will enter into the stories of the cards. Through this exploration, participants will learn how to weave their own lives into the stories of the spreads they lay onto the reading table, ultimately becoming the directors of their own dramas.
