The World is an Oracle with Nancy Hendrickson

Nancy Hendrickson spent years writing books on genealogy. Throughout that time, she was also a tarot reader. Now she is a tarot author. Her book, Ancestral Tarot, published by Weiser Books, is available for preorder.

To Nancy, tarot is a tool for deep healing. Beyond that, Nancy finds spiritual connection and divinatory information everywhere she looks.

Panel Discussion: Creativity, Magick, and Divination

Creation and magick are closely intertwined. A basic definition of magick is when it is performed to convey a specific desire and produce results using techniques that employ the supernatural, forces of nature, or a connection to Spirit. It’s essentially built on intention. Just as a writer, magician, witch, or spellcaster uses intention, focus, and rituals; the creative does the same in a form of ‘art’ magick. This magick speaks to our innate nature as makers and creatives. Creating is a powerful way to lead to discovery, creativity, healing, and spiritual connection.

Your panel facilitator is Nancy Hendrickson. Panelists include Stacey Williams-Ng, Erika Robinson, and Larie Trenkelbach.

Panel Discussion: When Tarot Meanings Change, or Do They? Reading Non-RWS Tarot

If you think a Tarot card’s meaning doesn’t change between a traditional Rider-Waite-Smith and a deck like the inkblot inspired Hidden Waters, you’ll want to join in this fascinating panel discussion. We’ll be looking at a variety of decks and seeing who on the Panel reads RWS regardless of deck and who reads based on the imagery. You can vote in a poll at the beginning of the Panel and another at the end – let’s see which side of the debate wins the day.

Going Deep – Incorporating Pendulums and Oracles into Ancestral Work

Whether you’ve delved into Ancestral Tarot or not, you’re invited to learn exactly how to incorporate pendulums and oracle decks into your ancestral readings. Discover how a pendulum can place an ancestor in a time and place, and how an oracle can be used as a clarifier, a personality descriptor, or can even tell an in-depth story that goes beyond what Tarot can reveal.

Bring a Tarot deck, a pendulum, and at least one Oracle deck of your choice. Hint: The decks you choose make a difference. Choose wisely.

How to Use Tarot to Identify and Work with Destructive Family Patterns

If you’ve ever wondered why you’re trapped in self-defeating behavior, you may be experiencing the result of a generational pattern. These are habits that were born out of necessity but over the years became adopted as a family norm. While not all generational patterns are destructive, the ones that are negatively impacting your life today definitely are.

Join Nancy Hendrickson as she demonstrates how to use Tarot to begin unraveling the patterns that no longer have a place in your life. Bring a Tarot deck separated into Majors, Minors, and Court Cards.
