Meg Watson has been reading tarot since 2015, and creating tarot memes & spreads since 2018. Her passion for incorporating pop culture references into tarot content lead to her joining the admin team for the Tarot Nerds community in 2018. She has contributed original tarot spreads for the Gentle Tarot Full-Size Guidebook, and the Practical Magic: Inner Witch Tarot Deck. Meg is the Creative Content Manager for Tarot Nerds, she runs the group’s Instagram account, and co-hosts the TV & Tarot Talk podcast, alongside Nya Thryce. Meg lives in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.

Every aspect of life, from the esoteric to the everyday, is represented within the 78 cards of the tarot. Creating custom spreads for the cards can be as simple as scratching just below the surface of a favorite tv show or comfort food. In this presentation, Meg will demonstrate how to craft tarot spread questions based on everyday objects, experiences, and even pop culture references.
