'An exercise in invocation and spell-casting Learn to use the cards to not only answer a question, but also to invoke, summon, direct and inspire! Tarot and oracle cards are effective companions in readings, but also powerful allies in spell-casting. How can we use the cards to spell cast? In this hour-long offering, we will learn to amplify intention and vision by introducing and exercising Tarot Movement and the Tarot Dance. The art of Tarot Movement (or Tarot Dancing) is a deep; spiritual; connected; empowered and empowering practice-A silent, organic, channeled rhythm. We use the cards to interpret a reading-deeply consider and identify areas we'd like to emphasize or suppress and engage the talisman's (cards, magical herbal energies and crystal qualities, among other things) to support desired outcome. Tarot interpretation is coupled with authentic, intuitive relationship, channeling, and the application of effective correspondences. You'll download several PDFs prior to class including a comprehensive list of magical herbs; a concise list of common crystals and associated properties; a detailed explanation of specific tarot cards; and images of four sample readings (career, relationship, release, and invocation).
"It's said that the shuffling of the cards is the earth, and the pattering of the cards is the rain, and the beating of the cards is the wind, and the pointing of the cards is the fire. That's of the four suits. But the Greater Trumps, it's said, are the meaning of all process and the measure of the everlasting dance."
